Welcome to Robert Fulton Elementary School, home of the Falcons. Fulton is located in the South Side of Chicago and serves approximately 600 students in grades PreK-8. The school is intensely focused on helping students acquire the knowledge and attitudes necessary to become world-class citizens. Fulton strives to help students become enthusiastic, life-long learners who are able to manage change and have a positive impact on their families, communities, country and the world. Fulton will value children and education as their highest priorities and uphold the motto, “A community is known by the quality of its schools.”

The high-performing, highly-diverse Fulton staff will contain only the most outstanding educators, hand-selected for their dedication, skill and commitment to students. These educators need additional support in order to significantly improve student achievement; Fulton will offer added support staff, curriculum specialists and performance incentives to enable staff to implement these reforms. Every staff member will participate in intensive professional development prior to school starting in order  to ensure that all of our students and teachers are successful. Fulton is committed to building a legacy of excellence, one student at a time.

Over the next year, the goal at Fulton is to make impressive gains in student achievement. The school will develop professional learning communities and grade-level teams that will allow teachers to collectively analyze data, and then use that data to implement effective changes that drive student achievement.
