How to Apply
Candidates who are interested in teaching or leadership positions for the 2010-2011 school year are encouraged to complete a School Matching Survey.
Eligibility
Candidates must meet the following eligibility requirements:
- You must possess a Bachelor's degree (conferred by June 2009).
- Your undergraduate GPA must be 2.5 or higher.
- You must be fully eligible to work in the United States.
- You must meet the Illinois credentialing requirements for your desired subject area.*
*If you are an out-of-state credentialed teacher, please carefully review your state reciprocity requirements as set forth by the Illinois State Board of Education to ensure that you meet all eligibility requirements. All Chicago teachers must also meet the No Child Left Behind definition of highly qualified.

New Applicants
If you are a new applicant to CPS, you must also complete the CPS online application.
Education Support Personnel (ESP) Applicants
The Turnaround Schools are accepting resumes for ESP positions. To apply, please email osthiring@gmail.com with your resume.
